Married Nepali woman ends life after lover dumps her Bangalore, Dec 28, DHNS: An extramarital fling turned tragic in the City on Wednesday when a Nepali woman, Kasu alias Sangeeta, 26, married to Lokesh with three children, hanged herself after her lover allegedly rejected her after a year-long affair. Kasu and Lokesh, both natives of Nepal, came to Bangalore a year ago and started a small canteen business. While Kasu cooked, Lokesh delivered food to customers. As the business picked up, Lokesh hired Khuran, also from the same village as theirs in Nepal. While Lokesh was away delivering food, a relationship between Kasu and Khuran blossomed. The affair continued for nearly five months when finally, fed up with his menial chores, Khuran parted ways with the Lokesh couple. He joined a cement company in Jnanapanhalli as a courier boy. But he continued his affair with Kasu by visiting her regularly and making a number of phone calls every day. A week earlier, Khuran decided to move into a new house near his workplace where he met Kasu after his working hours. On Wednesday, he decided to end the relationship accusing Kasu of forcing him to marry her. Police said she was even ready to abandon her husband and three children to be with Kasu. It is alleged that Khuran, after eating some lemon rice prepared by Kasu, went out for a stroll as he felt drowsy. On returning, he found Kasu hanging from the ceiling of the room. While some claim it was the house owner who called the police, officers investigating the suicide said Khuran himself called the Hulimavu police station before fleeing Kasu’s house.
