I would think your status shouldn't bother about how much you get paid...

 You can get up to the I140 stage. However, you will need better evidence of the salary payment when you do your I 485.

EB2 GC is for future employment. So, your current pay does not matter for any stages of greencard. Whether the company can pay you the stated salary depends on the company's financial status, which your attroney has to submit during I-140 filling. I had paystubs less that that would pay under EB2 GC, but got approved.  No need to worry as long as you have good company and credentials.
