I strongly believe in the fact that friend with benefits merely works / never works. I'd say never works. If you have physical realtionship then you tend to be close more eventhough you say you dont. You will feel it down the way. My suggestion: get it clear. if you guys are not in love, stop this stuff and move on ASAP before its too late. It aint going anywhere gal.  no more crush, I suppose it's a personal thing but I have had a very beautiful friendship with benefit and it was the best relationship ever. The friendship was beautiful without too much expectations besides that of friendship. We did a lot of things together like friends with others but we both appreciated the benefits we shared with each other.  Later on we no longer needed the benefits because I got into an exclusive relationship and so did she but to date we are still great friends - although no more benefits expected anymore  It's a great relationship.

 An exclusive partnership seems to be the norm so that is why I joined the bandwagon. With exclusive partnerships comes it's own challenges which have to be dealt with tender love and care to grow the plant of love together so there is definitely lot of work.  However, with friendship with benefit the amount of compromise and effort required is far less but part of the reason is living together with another person comes with a whole new set of challanges which have been overcome in due time, I'm happy to say

 I believe in love, I don't believe in friends with benifits actually benefits anyone in the long run. Look for a true love, sex will follow. The feeling of love is very very great, well for some love may not last but when it does it is a bliss. Try to love truely and expect true love.  I hold it true, whate'er befall; I feel it when I sorrow most; 'Tis better to have loved and lost Than never to have loved at all. The more relationships you have, the more pieces you will be cut into.  my 2 cents.

@ metalgal, I didn't want to go in details. but what you are experiencing is biological stuff which is when seen from other's eyes looks like emotional and feelings for others. when you had sex, endorphine got released, it's mixed up and it directly affects eachother's nervous system, so, that hormonal effect is upon you. it's gonna last for long time. sometimes it fades up pretty quick. it depends how you are inside. don't worry. have fun. this is about time to lose your virginity anyway.. lol :D
