 1 month is far more enough. Make sure u get married within 7-10 days of ur arrival at home. Get all the certificates within 1 week of ur marriage. Provided you have gathered all necessary documents and you are in good status over here in US, ur spouse will get visa the same day of interview or the following day. However,  as you know, getting visa is not guaranteed,....
