How to go about looking for a job?

I am a senior majoring in accounting and I am graduating at the end of this year. I need a job but how do I get one. I have used the career center in my college but that hasnt helped at all. Applications after applications but no replies as of yet. If you guys have a better way of finding a job, please let me know. Thank you.

Try applying to big 4 companies. How're your grades, experiences, recommendations, internships?  I'd highly recommend you to start planning ahead for your CPA test. Try to get 1-2 during your OPT. Getting a job in this economy is tough, but its not really impossible.  Also, keep one thing in mind - network! That's the biggest key. Good luck.

 Try your local craiglist if u r not planning to move...keep ur eyes on it all the time...keep applying n don't give up.....Gud Luck..
