My status is F-1 and my visa is right about to expire. But I really want to drive/share ride to Alaska through Canada. I have traveled to Canada before, for which I had to apply for an entry visa. I have been trying to contact canadian consulate but haven't been able to get hold of'em. So my question is, do i need to apply for a Canadian visa for my tentative trip? And, when driving back to mainland US, will my expired visa affect my entry though I am enrolled in a graduate school ?
