EB2 Expertise Suggestion Please regarding Requirement.

Frens, do I quilify for EB2 filing from following Job requirements(description). This is full time job(Not Consultancy). Education Associate’s degree in computer science, information systems, electrical engineering, computer engineer or a related field is required Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, electrical engineering, computer engineer or a related field is preferred Master Degree in lieu of experience in Computer Science is acceptable.   Equivalent work experience in a similar position may be substituted for educational requirements Last edited: 11-Apr-11 03:44 PM

 Master's + some experience would qualify for EB2 but Associate + 5 yrs of exp will definitely go for EB3. Bachelor's + 3 yrs of exp would challenge for EB2 if not EB3 (safe is BAchelors + 5 yrs).  In overall if that's the job requirement, then DOL will list it in EB3 row because of present of Associate + 5 yrs.  Last edited: 09-Apr-11 09:27 AM

it is eitherr masters or bachelors plus 5 years of experience.you do qualify with your masters. It is not the degree that defines eb2, it is the job requirement that defines whether you qualify for eb2 or not meaning you need high salary job and job should require masters.
