Why don't you check yourself? If the ITIN number goes thorugh in 2010, then it will work on 2009 but has to download 2009 software ( has to pay upfront  $18 at TAXACT.COM) Print sign and put it in the email. For sure if you have ITIN number and filing tax  you can not enjoy certain credits? Are you a student ?  If that is the case my suggestion will not work. Last edited: 01-Apr-11 02:31 PM

 yes i m f-1 student syanjaali.... i haven't got the ITIN number yet but i will get in a week. I don't have SSN so i have applied to get ITIN through HR Block. 2010 i will get around 800 but 2009 , i haven't file so i am curious that i can do through turbo tax or not because it is free.........any more suggestions please
