New USA

A new era in US has officially begun. It didn’t start in 2001, neither did it began with inauguration of the first black president in the history of the 1st world order. It began after a jobless, frustrated young man burn himself thus inciting the Mideast upheaval. It began after thousands of protestors marched in the streets of Tahrir square and, more importantly, Tripoli. President Obama’s reluctance to lead the troops to defeat a dictator has set a tone on the future US policy. The ‘Don’t Tread on Me’ motto carrying force is now not leading but “supporting”. His speech last night was a far cry from JFK’s inaugural speech of doing everything to defend liberty (paraphrasing), but it was indeed a reality that US has to accept. This new era will focus on internal affairs more and try to smoothen the international relationships. Sure, it will still look at what benefits the nation, who cares about Yemen and Ivory Coast? The hippocriticism still exists, but has subdued now. This is a new era, a more attuned (with atonement?) and subdued US looks for the Sputnik moment….. once again.

This reminds me of a question I had. I haven't met one single Nepali who supports Republican agenda in US. Please holler back if you do, just for my record keeping (so I know there exists one :))

Stiffler bro, I think you missed out. If there is any staunchest Republican in Sajha then I will boast it's non other than yours truly ! Read this: Ron Paul Revolution 2008 Reading your commentary, I figured you are not a REPUBLICAN but a NEOCON. And there is a huge difference. The Neocons are wolves in Republican clothings and they have hijacked the Republican party. Obama is one of the filthiest bastards ever to walk on this earth. This bastard promised to withdraw the troops from Iraq. Not only the troops are still in Iraq, he has orchestrated other theaters in Afganistan, Pakistan and now in Libya, though he has not committed the ground invasion yet. But I don't blame this bastard. This bastard is only the puppet like any other presidents of the U.S.A.  We have to look into the real power structure that control both the Democratic and Republican party. These bastards are only the smoke in the mirror. This bastard acted unconstitutionally without congressional approval and waged a war with the authorization of the United Nations. This is what I call the New World Order where the constitution of a nation is superceded by the United Nation Resolutions. This bastard is leading the Republic, an independent sovereign nation to the One World Government headed by the Rothischilds.

Good one NAS

NAS bro I respectfully disagree with every sentence you have put there. But to argue with republicans is like to argue with..well democrats, no point on trying to change their opinion, right? So, you don't have a problem with somebody who sends troops there. But you think the worst person to ever roam in the earth is the person who doesn't pluck them out magically (w/o any thoughts of repurcussions mind you)? Sure slightly less than 50k US troops are still in Iraq, but is that by choice? Please think and then answer. Disclosure: I am a registered Democrat.

Nas, you will fit right in FOX NEWS Channel. You should apply... Glen Beck, Hannity, O'Reilly need people like you to research on their propaganda and create false "news" so that they can fool their ignorant audience base.

Stiffler bro, I hate G.W Bush as much as I do to Obama. Both are same shits from different assholes. The problem with Obama is that he is so sleek like a serpent. We knew Bush was dumb but he was straight forward. Bush took the Americans to the war based on the lies. The world was very hopeful that Obama would end all the wars and bring the troops home as promised to the voters. The serpent showed it's true color when he started withdrawing few troops from Iraq but then started sending the troops to Afganistan and extending it to Pakistan. He was merely resuffling the troops.   He speaks one and acts different and he does this with such a grace. I am a republican (more towards libertarianism) and not a neoconservatism. Neocons are war-mongering imperialists. The true Republican ideology is like you said "Don't tread on me" and not "Don't tread on others". It's not the moral duty of the U.S to protect other nations. America is not the policeman of the world. Yet, American constitution allows her to declare war on other nation with the approval of Congress. There is a legal constitutional way to wage war. Neither Bush nor Obama ever declared war on other nations explicitly with Congressional approval. Unless, there is no immediate threat to the U.S, America should mind her own business. Republican ideology is not building empires but "Friendship with all, alliance with none". I am against Democrats because it is essentially socialism that loaths free market. They are for welfare state and wants the population to depend upon government hands out. They rob a hardworking Peter to pay Paul. They are all for big Government. And you and I both know, that the war against Libya is not about so called "humanitarian efforts to save lives". It's all about OIL. We are totally in a world governed by Corporations not Governments.
