Okay I got some quick questions about Asylum. Anyone that knows, please help me with the answers.  First off, If I apply for asylum while Im under F-1 and I get rejected, does that mean I never get to travel outside of US and come back even if my student Visa has a few years left before it expires?  Nepalese have a long cultural history of saying that all interviews (especially about USA) depend on luck which I don't quite trust although some might have benefitted from co-incidence. Anyways, on what basis are the asylums accepted or rejected? This is the internet and I don't want to say too much tesaile ma Nepali ma bhanchu, ke kasto basis ma papers banauda haamro case strong huncha. Like news paper articles, photographs or ki euta pattauney khaalko katha ani legit explanation matrai chaincha?  If I get rejected in asylum, what are my chances of being re-considered for it in the court? How much do you think a lawyer may charge me?  Important one, if all the lawyers are going to do for us in the name of helping with the papers is writing a story and telling us what we need then is it not better to do it on our own? Or is there anything genuine that a lawyer (I mean those Nepalese with computers who have been charging people money to tell them how they got papers) does that might increase the chances a little?  Lastly, if I write the story, collect the evidences and submit it myself, how much is it going to cost in total?  Last edited: 11-Feb-11 05:32 PM
