I dont think they will provide you unlock code for free as long as your contract is not over ( just heard of , not sure). You can find seller on ebay who gives you unlock code when you provide them your IMEI number. They charge you based on the model you have. I unlocked my HTC Wings about 2 years ago from blowfish***   (* was some number ) in 10 bucks.

 you can unlocking your phone through codes. i got my phone unlocked through codes only. you can get the codes from this site http://www.theunlockspot.com/s... where i bought my code.
