By membership strength, most likely it's UNN.  heard around 68K.  ANA could be big too.  But most of the ones I know have about 5-10 members.

As far as I know some group this group are based on either political parties or place ! Like in new York there is Ridgehood Nepali samaj re, becoz it's in ridgehood !! Aba ta malai ne America Nepali bidharthy samaj kholdeu jasto lagcha!!

As many as there are schools in kathmandu's gallis. Nagarikreport le 1% information chai kaha bata payeko ni? Some of these organizations serve commendable purpose. But most are originated to "belong" to something and establish one's popularity in that group.
