Hey SAN, First of all, thanks for removing that "unlike" button @ the music thread. Second, Happy New Year 2011 to you, your family & your Band of Sajha admins. Mulmiz & I have been experimenting and messaging each other regarding the music thread. Below are our observations so far. The music thread version 1.0 was awesome. However, after playing around with it for a while Mulmiz & I thought it might need some upgrading. Below are suggestions that Mulmiz and I came up with. We strongly hope that they will be implemented ((( please ))). :D 1) This one is from Mulmiz. Is it possible to change the title of the Thread to "**♫♫ Sajha संगीत ♫♫** " ? 2) This one is from Mulmiz. He was trying to embed mp3 type of files and ran into some problems. Is it possible to make it easy to embed mp3 files. Also could such files be incorporated into the "playlist"? 3) This one is from Mulmiz. Instead of the category "Foreign" he would like to have it renamed to "Others". The rest are from me. :D 4) Okay. The "scroll wheel" on my "computer mouse" is going flat {{ puncture }} from all the scrolling that I have to do every time I visit the music thread and want to post a new song. The reason for this is that new songs are added at the bottom of the Thread. Is it possible to change the format of this thread to that of a "Stack". New songs get added at the top and the old songs get pushed down. This is different from other threads. For other threads it makes sense to put the new posting at the bottom, because people are discussing their things on those threads and they want to first read what others have written and then respond. 5) Is it also possible to bring the "Playlist" to the TOP of the thread. The reason for this is the same as that in (4). The playlist is UNIQUE and I doubt anyone is finding it, when it is lurking at the bottom of the page. 6) This one is important. So far the options @ the music thread are as follows :: Pop, Hip-Hop, Rap, Classical, Folk, Blues, Rock, Heavy Metal, Reggae, Remix, Techno I know that there are innumerable amounts of music genre and it is impossible to list all of them. So I say, how about giving the User the option of ENTERING the Genre by him/her-self? Just like the user has to enter the name of the singer and the title of the song, the user will have to enter a genre for the song. In this way more genres of music can be featured. 7) How about adding some "cosmetics" @ the music thread on the homepage of Sajha? Right now it looks as follows: ~ **♫♫ Sajha संगीत ♫♫** ~ Mulmiz 5 Hrs 31 Mins ago [Pop] How about making it more descriptive. Example :: Mulmiz uploads a "Other" / Foreign pop song. Then it will look like: Let us say the foreign song is Chinese. Then, ~ **♫♫ Sajha संगीत ♫♫** ~ Mulmiz 5 Hrs 31 Mins ago [Other - Chinese] [Pop] Similarly for Nepali pop song it will look like: ~ **♫♫ Sajha संगीत ♫♫** ~ Mulmiz 5 Hrs 31 Mins ago [Nepali] [Pop] So for this to happen Mulmiz will have to TYPE "Chinese" when he selects "Other" in the main category. This is only applicable when a user selects a "Foreign / other" category. Also, how about adding some COLORS @ the homepage. ~ **♫♫ Sajha संगीत ♫♫** ~ Mulmiz 5 Hrs 31 Mins ago [Other - Chinese] [Pop] Currently everything is in BLUE color. How about the following, ~ **♫♫ Sajha संगीत ♫♫** ~ = Blue [the color that is currently applied] Mulmiz (User name) = Red or any other color 5 Hrs 31 Mins ago (Time) = Black or any other color [Other - Chinese] = Green or any other color [Pop] = Orange or any other color Please make sure that the color you choose stands in contrast to the white background. For example "yellow" will not work well because it does not stand out in a white background. 8) I noticed a bug. When I click on pages "1" or "2" or any other page, the song titles and the artist names disappear. Could you please fix that. I hope the workload is not too much. ;-) Please take your time.
