Part time job in H1B status

Hi friends, Is it OK to work part-time in another job to someone with full-time job (for H1B holder)? Happy New Year!!!

You have to get another H1-B approval for that work. This is my understanding........

You can receive paychecks ONLY from your H1B sponsor... I said - paycheck. :)

Yup. H1B regulations are much stricter than F1. If they find out that you are working anywhere else, you will be deported. As STUPIDA has pointed out correctly, you'll have to file for a new H1B for both the jobs. Your current employer may not like that. Consult your current employer, your new employer, and then if everybody agrees, file for a new H1B. Good luck
