This psuedo-socialist bastard Senator Sanders proved himself to be the whore of the same billionaires he is so loathing on this video. My friends don't go for their sweet and touchy speeches, look for their actions and voting records. This bastard had the perfect opportunity to gut down on the root of all evil, the Federal Reserve which is responsible for all the bubbles, inflation, massive debt, and the elimination of middle class in this nation but this bastard sold out to the Wall Street and the Bankers. Dr. Ron Paul who originally sponsored the  “Audit the Fed” proposal in the House of Representatives – H.R. 1207 would have fully audited the most ultra secretive and powerful institution in the world - the Federal Reserve which has never been audited until now. The FED was literally scared to death with this bill. This audit would have exposed how the FED looted this country.  The same version in the Senate was S 604.  This banker whore was supporting the full audit in the beginning  but at the last moment he ditched the full audit of the FED (S. 604) and introduced the watered-down “Audit the Fed” bill — S. 3217. Under pressure from the Bankers, this bastard made last-minute changes to his proposal; it doesn’t require audits of monetary policy, and it doesn’t require disclosure of the names of banks that use the discount window. His "compromise" bill  is exactly what the Obama Administration and the banking interests wanted - they'll allow the TARP and TALF to be audited, but no transparency of monetary policy decisions, discount window operations or agreement with foreign central banks. This bastard is a traitor to the people and had preserved the interests of the Bankers and Wall Street. Liberals (scums) like San bro is quick to give thumbs up to the lip services whether it be Sanders or Obama. But People are finally waking up to the FED. Dr. Paul will chair the monetary policy subcommittee overseeing the FED come 2011. The FED has to be exposed. The battle has begun. People vs the FED. Last edited: 15-Dec-10 08:05 PM

Nas, the tea-bagger!

tamanglakola · Dec 15, 2010 11:58 PM

My friend tamanglakola, it feels good to be on the side of Freedom and Liberty. One of my best trend forecasters, Gerald Celente has been warning: “When People Lose Everything, They Have Nothing Left To Lose, And They Lose It” It's coming true. America is going down ! F1 students, you have no future in this country. Nepalese brothers and sisters, whatever income you have saved, please, buy gold and silver immediately. Few years from now, America will totally collapse. In that difficult time, gold and silver will be the only valuable asset. My friends, this is the beginning of the end. This country will be in civil war, a second revolution is eminent. There will be riots in the streets of America. Streets of Europe are already burning...from England to Ireland, France to Italy.... because of fascist austerity measures ! When the shit hits the fan in home, it will be much much worst. The government had already built huge FEMA camps to quell down the second revolution. There will be bloodbath in America !!!!!!!!!!!!! One Florida man, who lost everything....had nothing to lose so he just lose it.

Nas, I never heard of the senator before but I liked what he said in the video! It's too bad if it was only lip service :( Talking of lip service - although I also like what Ron Paul stands for and what he talks about, unless he gets elected and he's in a position to do something about the issues he raises - like the federal reserve and income taxes, everything he's talking about also becomes lip service for lack of action.

ne0 bro, For the past 30 years of his political career, this honest and principled man had been calling to end the FED, IRS, CIA, FBI and all other major federal agencies. He has never refrained from that stance. He wants to bring the power to the States and not the central government in D.C. He is a proponent of local-governance and limited government and strict constitutionalist. Just two years ago, you would have been called a "nut job" , "kook", "tinfoil hat" by the media if you dared to question the Federal Reserve, let alone talk about abolishing it. But Ron Paul has successfully managed to gather the momentum and has exposed the FED for what it is. Even though he did not win the presidential election, his idea has prevailed. Today, everyone is questioning the FED, from the media to the politicians. People want more and more transparency and accountability of the FED. This is all because of Ron Paul who has been vocally critical of the FED. He even authored a book "End the FED" to let his ideas flow to the masses. For the first time in nearly 100 years, his "Audit the Fed" got huge support in the House and the Senate. This would have exposed all the shenanigans of Fed but the bankers won that battle because of Sanders's betrayal. This battle is ongoing....... It is very important to learn the history of FED to know why the rich is getting richer and the poor is getting poorer in this nation. If you understand FED, you will understand how wealth is transferred from the middle class to the upper class. The biggest example and the biggest looting of the Americans was the recent so called "bail outs" transferring trillions of dollars from the taxpayers to the Bankers. You must all watch this Documentary !! THE MONEY MASTERS "The powers of financial capitalism had a far-reaching plan, nothing less than to create a world system of financial control in private hands able to dominate the political system of each country and the economy of the world as a whole...Their secret is that they have annexed from governments, monarchies, and republics the power to create the world's money..." THE MONEY MASTERS is a 3 1/2 hour non-fiction, historical documentary that traces the origins of the political power structure that rules our nation and the world today. The modern political power structure has its roots in the hidden manipulation and accumulation of gold and other forms of money. The development of fractional reserve banking practices in the 17th century brought to a cunning sophistication the secret techniques initially used by goldsmiths fraudulently to accumulate wealth. With the formation of the privately-owned Bank of England in 1694, the yoke of economic slavery to a privately-owned "central" bank was first forced upon the backs of an entire nation, not removed but only made heavier with the passing of the three centuries to our day. Nation after nation, including America, has fallen prey to this cabal of international central bankers. Last edited: 16-Dec-10 01:05 PM

If you have even an ounce of knowledge on economics, you would start buying up gold and silver. I am talking to those who have decent amount of savings. Don't let the inflation eat the value of your money. Gold and sliver is the only protection for the mega disaster that is yet to come. It would be more wise to keep your gold and silver offshore because it could repeat all over like back in the1933 during the depression era, when the tyrant F.D Roosevelt robbed the Americans of their gold. Real unemployment rate is above 20%. Not  the government cooked up rate of 9%. Difficult times are ahead in the U.S. Current graduating Nepalese F1 students, are you keeping your hopes high on landing a job, when millions of American citizens are out of job ? The Fed? Ron Paul’s Not a Fan http://www.nytimes.com/2010/12... Ben S. Bernanke, the chairman of the Federal Reserve, has been attacked for failing to foresee the financial crisis, for bailing out Wall Street, and, most recently, for injecting an additional $600 billion (Edit: The real figure would be in Trillions ) into the banking system to give the slow recovery a boost. Richard Clement/Reuters Ron Paul questioning Ben Bernanke at a House Financial Services Committee hearing in February. But Mr. Bernanke will face even more scrutiny in the months to come. On Thursday, House Republican leaders announced that Representative Ron Paul of Texas, the outspoken Republican libertarian who ran for president in 2008, will become the chairman of the subcommittee that oversees the Fed. His position on the central bank is captured in the title of his 2009 book, “End the Fed” (Grand Central Publishing). Here’s some of what he wrote: The Beginning of the End “The day the Fed came into being in 1913 may have been the beginning of the end, but the powers it obtained and the mischief it caused took a long time to become a serious issue and a concern for average Americans.” The Gold Standard “Whenever I talk of a gold standard, there are always people ready to accuse me of having some obsession or fixation. Fetish is a word thrown around. In fact, I’m only observing reality: the idea of sound money in most of human history has been bound up with gold money.” A Full-Time Counterfeiting Operation On Mr. Bernanke: “There is something fishy about the head of the world’s most powerful government bureaucracy, one that is involved in a full-time counterfeiting operation to sustain monopolistic financial cartels, and the world’s most powerful central planner, who sets the price of money worldwide, proclaiming the glories of capitalism.” New Money Out of Thin Air “Only the Federal Reserve can inflate the currency, creating new money and credit out of thin air, in secrecy, without oversight or supervision. Inflation facilitates deficits, needless wars and excessive welfare spending.” Fed Chairmen He Has Known “Being in Congress in the late 1970s and early 1980s and serving on the House Banking Committee, I met and got to question several Federal Reserve chairmen: Arthur Burns, G. William Miller and Paul Volcker. Of the three, I had the most interaction with Volcker. He was more personable and smarter than the others, including the more recent board chairmen Alan Greenspan and Ben Bernanke.” Low Interest Rates “Artificially low interest rates are achieved by inflating the money supply, and they penalize the thrifty and cheat those who save. They promote consumption and borrowing over savings and investing. Manipulating interest rates is an immoral act. It’s economically destructive.” The Bailouts “Today, there is no principled opposition to the corporate bailouts and the Fed’s trillions of dollars of new credit and the takeover of insurance, mortgages, medical care, banks and the auto industry. The arguments have only been over amounts, financial vehicles, and which political group gets to wield the economic power. If there is no moral argument against the economic takeover of America, there will be no resistance to the dictator who rules over our lives with an iron fist.” The Obama Legacy “For the same reason a disease cannot be cured by more of the germ that caused it, the inflation and debt accumulation of the Obama years will not inflate our way out of it. This depression will likely last and last.”

US empire could collapse at any time, Pulitzer winner http://www.rawstory.com/rs/201... America's military and economic empire could collapse at any time, but predicting the precise day, week or month of its potential demise is unattainable, according to a former New York Times war correspondent who spoke with Raw Story. "The when and how is very dangerous to predict because there's always some factor that blindsides you that you didn't expect," Pulitzer-winning journalist Chris Hedges said in an exclusive interview. "It doesn't look good. But exactly how it plays out and when it plays out, having covered disintegrating societies, it's impossible to tell." He explained that he learned this lesson as events unfolded around him in the fall of 1989. Then, members of the opposition to the Soviet Empire told him that they predicted travel across the Berlin Wall separating East from West Germany would open within the year. "Within a few hours, the wall didn't exist," he said. Hedges was one of the 131 activists were arrested in an act of civil disobedience outside the White House yesterday, even as Obama was unveiling a new report citing progress in the Afghanistan war. Speaking to Raw Story on Wednesday night, he said the signs of US collapse are plain to see and compared the country's course through Afghanistan to Soviet Russia's. "We're losing [the war in Afghanistan] in the same way the Red Army lost it," he said. "It's exactly the same configuration where we sort of control the urban centers where 20 percent of the population lives. The rest of the country where 80 percent of the Afghans live is either in the hands of the Taliban or disputed." "Foreigners will not walk the streets of Kabul because of kidnapping, and journalists regularly meet Taliban officials in Kabul because the whole apparatus is so porous and corrupt," he said. One day after this interview was conducted, reports hit the global media noting the CIA's warning to President Obama, that the Pakistan-supported Taliban could still regain control of the country. Hedges predicted that President Obama's war report released Thursday would "contradict not only [US] intelligence reports but everything else that is coming out of Afghanistan." His prediction came startlingly true: the CIA's own assessment was said to stand in striking contrast with President Obama's report. Defense Secretary Robert Gates, however, insisted that the US controlled more territory in Afghanistan than it did a year ago. 'A corporate coup d'état in slow motion' Hedges said he attended the protest and planned to get arrested because he is against the corporate powers that have enveloped the nation. "We've undergone a corporate coup d'état in slow motion," he said. "Our public education system has been gutted. Our infrastructure is corroding and collapsing. Unless we begin to physically resist, they are going to solidify neo-feudalism in this country." "If we think that Obama is bad, watch the next two years because these corporate forces have turned their back on him," Hedges warned. Hedges, author of "Death of the Liberal Class," said that his vision of America is one with a functioning social democracy, which stands in stark contrast to the nihilism of the corporate state. "American workers, as they are repeatedly told, will have to become competitive with prison labor in China," he said. "That's where we're headed, and all the pillars of the liberal establishment are complicit in this." "At least if you get sick in the UK, you don't go bankrupt or die," he added. Hedges said that another pressure point is the US dollar, which he pointed out had been dropped by Russia and China in favor of modified ruble/renminbi exchanges. "A few more deals like that, and our currency becomes junk," he said. Hedges continued, "As long as we have relative stability, these lunatic fringe movements can be held at bay, but if we don't undertake serious structural reform, which we're not doing, then it is inevitable that we will come to a tremendous crisis - economic and political as well as environmental." This video, featuring portions of a speech given by Chris Hedges, was shot outside the White House on Dec. 16, 2010
