Mysansar take on this मुद्दा नं. १६६: पारस गिरफ्तार By Salokya, on December 14th, 2010 राजतन्त्र समर्थकहरुले ‘१६ मिनेट मात्र पक्रेर देखाऊ सरकारले’ भनेर चर्का कुरा गरिरहेका बेला पूर्व युवराज पारस शाह आज जीवन मै पहिलो पल्ट गिरफ्तार भएका छन्। ज्यान मार्न खोजेको भन्दै चितवनको जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालयमा मुद्दा नम्बर १६६ दर्ता भएपछि उनीविरुद्ध पक्राउ पूर्जी आजै जारी भएको थियो। पक्राउ पूर्जी जारी भएपछि नेपाल प्रहरी, सशस्त्र प्रहरी र सेनासमेतको उपस्थितिमा पारस बसेको पोखराको फूलबारी रिसोर्टलाई घेरा हाली नियन्त्रणमा लिइएको थियो। पारससित गोलीकान्ड बारे गण्डकी प्रहरी प्रमुख केशव अधिकारी र कास्की प्रमुख पुस्कर कार्कीले रिसोर्टमै प्रारम्भिक बयान लिएका थिए। अब उनलाई घटना भएको जिल्ला चितवनतिर लगिँदैछ। पारसलाई सुरुमा उनकै गाडीमा राखेर चितवन लगिने भनिए पनि पारसले स्वास्थ्यको कारण हेलिकप्टरमा जान पाउँ भनेर माग राखे पछि उनलाई हेलिकप्टरमा राखेर चितवन लगिने भएको छ। हेलिकप्टरको व्यवस्था पारस आफैले गरेका रहेछन्। चितवनमा फेरि उनीसँग बयान लिइनेछ। त्यसपछि उनी हिरासत मै रहने छन्। उनलाई कहाँ राखिने भन्ने निश्चित नभए पनि प्रहरीको भरतपुरस्थित तालिम केन्द्रमा हिरासतमा राख्‍ने अनुमान गरिएको छ। के कारबाही हुन्छ पारसलाई ? राष्ट्रियताको कार्ड फ्याँकेर मैले गोली चलाएकै हो भनी वक्तव्य निकालेर पारस बचेका हैन फँसेका छन्। उनले हतियार राख्‍ने लाइसेन्स लिएका छैनन्। त्यसैले अवैध हतियार राखेकोमा उनलाई सीधै कारबाही हुनसक्छ। ज्यान मार्ने गरी गोली चलाएको भन्ने अर्को मुद्दा उनीविरुद्ध पर्न सक्छ। तर त्यसका लागि साक्षी प्रमाणहरुको के कस्तो भूमिका हुन्छ, त्यो हेर्नुपर्ने हुन्छ। प्रवीण गुरुङलाई गाडीले हानेर मार्दा अर्कै नक्कली ड्राइभर खडा गरिए जस्तो साक्षी प्रमाणहरुलाई उनको विरुद्धमा बयान नदिने बनाउन सकियो भने पारसलाई कारबाही नहुन सक्छ। गोली चलाएको हुँ भनेर पारसले आफ्नै मुखबाट कहीँ बोलेका छैनन्। एउटा उनको नाममा आएको भनेको वक्तव्य उनको नाम मात्र राखी हस्ताक्षर बिना आएको थियो। त्यसैले उनले बयान फेर्न सक्ने संभावना छैन भन्न सकिन्न। जे होस्, आफूले जे गर्दा पनि जसो गर्दा पनि प्रश्न उठाउने कोही नभएको राजतन्त्रतात्मक व्यवस्थाको बानी भएका पारसलाई अब मुद्दामामिला, बयान आदि जस्ता झण्झटहरुको सामना गर्नुपर्ने भएको छ। यसले उनी जिम्मेवार नागरिक हुनमा सहयोग पुगोस् ! साथमा नेपाली काँग्रेस लगायत अरु दलहरुले जिम्मेवार भएर सोच्नुपर्ने कुरा- के पारसले सुजाताका ज्वाइँ बाहेक रामबहादुर वा श्यामबहादुर वा त्यो रिसोर्टका कुनै कर्मचारीमाथि त्यसरी पेस्तोल ताकेको भए यत्तिकै छिटो कारबाही प्रक्रिया अघि बढ्थ्यो त ? कानुन सबका लागि समान् हुन्छ भन्ने चेत दलहरुमा र त्यसका नेताहरुमा पनि पलाओस्- यो पनि कामना !

If one goes by what is written on the newspapers I do not understand how did this guy insulted Nepal or Nepalese. Paras has been shamelessly  trying to hide behind the curtain of nationalism. Lets not forget it is Paras that has treated Nepalese  like dirt when he was a prince. It is pathetic that in the name of nationalism some people are making hero of a coward who used his gun against an unarmed guy.Guys it is no crime to be a Bangladeshi in Nepal or Nepalese in America. I agree there are many more criminals who have gone unpunished in Nepal but that is no excuse to threaten somebody with a gun.

This is more of a personal issue than national, Paras should be hanged by his balls; I do not sympathize with him at all for the sake of nationality. If I need to lose my nationality, so be it, but I think Paras has shown he still wants to rule the country criminally. What he should do is follow the path shown by his wife. If he continues to use guns and threat in this age, the monarchy is gone for good.

I still remember then CNN reporter Satindra Bindra, how he exaggerated every little thing. These western media do not have the capacity to understand ground reality nor they give true report. Not to mention, these are the same media which publicized " Buddha was born in Nepal". Well, Nepalese were so sensitive on that part Buddha's issue (ironically no one is on that path) , but when it comes to the issue of Nationalism, some idiots are so dumb and  that they are ready to give up their nationality-those must be the puppets of current political parties. You moron, look at the history of developed countries, they prospered as they always put their nation and nationality in a first place. Shantipriya you are absolutely right. Most of nepalese people cannot analyze the internal cause. If people have supported king in his stand to protect nepalese nationality and soverginity day like this would not come in nepal. I wonder why people support (Nepali?????) congress even if it the most treacherous party in Nepal. They do politics in the name of nepal and nepali but for the interest of their indian master. they are making bussiness out of so called 'democracy' What is the definition of democracy?
