Pixie bro, every teenager goes through the phase that your cousin is currently going through...the most important thing is he is trying. he is giving a shot by changing majors, which will definitely help him finding what he likes to do...he might wanna take some liberal courses for the moment.

The only thing I can say you is that your cousion is in a country where he can help himself.  In this country, things doesn't work out as we planned and people often get confused. Trust me he doesn't want you or anybody to worry about him. Let him do whatever he is doing. Let him mistakes and let him learn from it. Don't give lectures or even suggestions becoz' it really doesn't matter. Yes, ofcourse if he ask for your suggestions or guidance then it makes sense to advise him. Otherwise, you'll just make the things worse.
