Curiosity was inevitable after it published once that Baburam Bhattarai was one of most popular figure among internet folks. This reporting was based on the comments made by its online readers. This was in sharp contrast to what one could read about him after viewing a facebook like ‘Nepa tero bauko desh ho...” A large majority of the fans did not have good thing to say about him. This is an example to have an understating on his popularity with the people having access to internet. To be even clearer on the working on eKantipur, some attempts were made by making comments on its news. Comments were hatred-free and absolutely no offensive. Its only ‘flaw’ was that it did not agree with the presentation of the news content. And ekantipur did not publish any one of them. On the other, it allowed those comments that were favorable to its content. Clearly, it was trying to spread something that way. This is how it skews the matter to its interest. The intent could be none other than to buid false notion. It does propaganda. Knowing that fallacy is bad for any society in this media age, eKantipur is qualifying itself as one among several other unwanted.
