६० 'पोर्नो साइट' नेपालमा बन्द कात्तिक ११ - इन्टरनेट सेवाप्रदायक (आइएसपी) हरूले बुधबार साँझदेखि आ-आफ्नो सर्भरबाट ६० वटा अश्लील साइटको प्रसारण रोकेका छन्। देशभित्रै र बाहिरबाट सञ्चालित ती साइट नेपालभित्र कसैले हेर्न नपाउने व्यवस्था गर्न गृह मन्त्रालय र दूरसञ्चार प्राधिकरणले निर्देशन दिएपछि आइएसपीहरूले यो कदम चालेका हुन्। अश्लील साइट नियन्त्रणलाई लिएर बुधबार दिउँसो गृह मन्त्रालय, प्राधिकरण र आइएसपीहरूको बैठक बसेको थियो। अश्लील हुन् भनेर पाएको सूचना र सुझावका आधारमा पहिलो चरणमा ६० वटा साइट बन्द गर्न आइएसपीहरूलाई निर्देशन दिने निर्णय भयो,' दूरसञ्चार प्राधिकरणका प्रवक्ता कैलाशप्रसाद न्यौपानेले भने,  'अश्लील साइट ६० वटामात्र होइन, हजारौं छन्, सबैलाई विस्तारै बन्द गर्दै जानेछौं।'संस्थामा आबद्ध सेवाप्रदायकलाई साइट बन्द गर्न निर्देशन दिइसकेको र आबद्ध नरहेकालाई प्राधिकरणले आफैं निर्देशन दिने तयारी गरिरहेको उनले बताए। नेपालमा ४५ इन्टरनेट सेवाप्रदायक कम्पनी छन्। नेपालमा जतिपनि इन्टरनेट सेवाका ग्राहक छन् ती सबै ४५ कम्पनीमध्यबाटै सेवा लिइरहेका छन्।  अश्लील साइटमा युवाहरूको लत बसेको र समाजमा बलात्कारका घटना बढाउन सहयोग गरेको भन्दै मन्त्रालयले झन्डै तीन महिनादेखि रोक लगाउन गृहकार्य थालेको थियो। गृह प्रवक्ता जयमुकुन्द खनालले अश्लील साइट हेर्ने व्यक्तिले त्यहाँबाट सिकेर समाजमा अपराध बढेकाले बन्द गर्नुपरेको बताए। 'बन्द भए/नभएको अनुगमन प्राधिकरणले गर्नुपर्छ,' उनले भने "अश्लील साइटमा युवाहरूको लत बसेको र समाजमा बलात्कारका घटना बढाउन सहयोग गरेको भन्दै " ~ I think Pornos help control these abuse and rapes. If you cannot watch a porn and hence cannot masturbate, you will seek other options, right? This will lead to Rape and sexual assaults. "अश्लील साइट हेर्ने व्यक्तिले त्यहाँबाट सिकेर समाजमा अपराध बढेकाले बन्द गर्नुपरेको बताए" ~So, you should ban all the action movies too. People will learn from them and start fighting with each other.  "'अश्लील साइट ६० वटामात्र होइन, हजारौं छन्, सबैलाई विस्तारै बन्द गर्दै जानेछौं।'" ~ So, when are you banning Porn DVDs and Porn Magazines? Internet takes a while to download videos and pics, DVDs and Magazines are more efficient to utilize. They should have been banned first.

When people have to access it they will find a way.just find a proxy and browse it from there..khali haati ko dekhaune daat ta ho ni....security strong po garnu parcha crime huna nadina...corruption hataunu parcah...baru teta tira kadam chale ta ramro hunthyo hola ni....

Even if they block the web address of pron site, there are many ways to go through that. The best way is to use free proxy site. How do these proxy site work is that, your browser opens these proxy which are not blocked by the ISP, and then your requested (blocked) site passes through this proxy. So ISP doesn't know that the user is requesting blocked site. This is the general cases however they also can block the free proxy sites however there are many such free sites.

DimagKharab: While you have a point whether there is any point banning such sites, your logic to people not being able to m'bate due to the lack of such sites and hence resorting to rape is pretty lame and stupid. Yasto haawaa kura gardine saathi timile... YoTaBhayanaNiSom.
