Guys who has already finished their graduate school especially in electrical/computer engineering how did you study during your grad study. Ok completing assignment of the subject is one thing..did you guys solved each and every unsolved from the prescribed subject book? Do you refer too many books for that given subject. I think the main thing is to clear concept but when you try referring too many book I feel lagging in the subject. Besides for a person with long gap(work) I think I lag basic math. Don't know how to improve that. If I try to study that then I will be lagging in the course :). Guys provide input how to maintain your good gpa. I am really interested in your honest input of how you used to study and maintain good gpa.

Make sure you review slides/notes from your lectures. Try to solve at least some of the relevant textbook problems. Make sure you timely visit your professor/TA to ask for help on problems you can't solve. Frequently visiting your professor/TA is more important that you may realize. I suppose when it comes down to it all, you have to work hard, timely submit your homework, and be prepared for your quizzes and exams. :) Common sense really!!!
