Folks, I, without my knowledge, got into this matter recently and am asking if you guys could enlighten me on this... serious answers only please. The thing is, we were in long-distance(she is in nepal) relationship for just over six months and everything was going great, as we expected. But one day, for some reason(thought I should tell her everything), during course of our talking i told her about an incident( had relationship with a girl during my undergrad) without fearing any future consequences. But now everything is changed for her because of this revelation(i think), and she is completely turned off. Could you please suggest me on what would be the best i can do to bring her back. thanks for looking. sdhar. Last edited: 13-Sep-10 02:07 PM

Siridharji, Namaskar. What is the specific detail that you feel you told her that offended her? Was it a relationship? A hug? An affair? How severe was your transgression in your desired bride's eyes? What is the difference between how she saw you before and how she sees you now that you told her about the incident? How does she see you differently?

Hi, I think what you did was a result of going truthful toward her which is a great thing in love relationship. But some time truth is bitter for someone. If you thought that telling your past relationship can make your current relationship more faithful and strong, and told her about that but did work opposite, you should now convince her you really love her, and ask forgiveness for your past deed.

Hello, thanks for the reply. Of the details that I told her honestly, now offended her the most, i think is the physical relationship. I don't know how severe is the issue with her, but can feel that she just don't wanna listen to me. For the difference, she tells me, at least now, that she might not able to be as herself with me, knowing that i had an issue on past. As I understand, i can tell about her viewpoint on this, is that, she can't take the very physical thing in any sense at all. thanks a lot sdhar

Siridharji, If she can't at all compromise on the physical thing then, I'm sorry to say, but it seems like you're sh*t out of luck. Maybe she's more traditional minded and anything physical in a partner is a deal breaker. And it seems that by revealing your particular, you broke the deal. If you're still quite attached to her then try a few experiments. Send her some presents. Show your loyalty in other ways. Tell her that whatever happened in your past has helped you become the man you are now and that your previous experiences in relationships will make you a more mature lover. Tell her that you are a lot more experienced lover from your experiences and will enable to show her a great time. If all that fails, tell her that her lack of experiences with other men will probably be a disadvantage for her since you are more experienced than her. Grasp the upper hand my friend. This isn't about her judging you according to her moral standards dammit! You judge her lack of experience in bed. Be a man! Show her whose boss. Go tiger!

Life goes on man. Don't fall for this long-distance crap. If you're a permanent resident or are close to graduating, then yes...if not then you're suffering yourself. Just apologize to her and move on with your life.

lol.....funny ! I was in a similar situation before. Relationship foy 2/3 years and a new nepali girl. Wanted to be nice but it turns out that you can't be nice. Gotta be a liar! Then I moved on....its cool now.

Well, If She had "tune up" before you did your tune up and she has honestly told you about it , you might be calling her different names...B**ch..Wh**..bla bla..Since you did it first, you want the 'honest' title...Please!! And I think, you don't need to worry, your tune up schedule might be littler earlier than hers..you know.. luxury cars they do oil change every 10k miles..and cheap ass cars they have to do every 3k miles...And I think her schedule is coming pretty soon...Again, you don't NEED to tell every tune up service in Long distant relationship...

Life goes on. If she does not want to come back you should **happily** start looking for someone else. She's just 1 fish out of many many in the ocean.
Power_Ranger · Sep 14, 2010 8:30 AM
Now why on earth would you tell a woman the truth?? Learn a lesson from this and move on.

It is hard for anybody in a relationship to find out that his/her partners has had sexual relationship before. Even if you want to it's hard to forget. You were just being honest with her because you love her so she needs to respect you and your decision for telling her the truth. She also needs to understand that it was in the past before you met her, therefore you did not know the future. Past is past and you were honest with her. If she loves you then she will needs to forgive if not forget and move on. If she does not want to change her mind or forget the incident then it'll be hard for your relationship. No matter what happens in the future this topic will come up and she will always blame you. Let us know the outcome. Good Luck

Well, you prolly think bad for what happened. The talent of women is they manipulate man so much ! Even though its them who want to end the relationship they will succeed to make us believe that it ended cause we are an ass****. So, buddy don't be a whiner! Take it like a man and move on!Thats the best thing to do.
sanju.baba · Sep 14, 2010 7:18 PM
Rekha, Just curious ! Would you comment, if you want, on to what extend would this "past revelation" thing will be recalled, if say, things get reconciled. Or is it, as you mentioned, going to be called in any case in future? I was trying to understand the scenario that may trigger this recalling ?

SiriDhar ji, All I'm saying is that situation like this will come up in the future and if she can't accept your past it'll be rocky relationship. Even if she forgives you for something that was not even your fault most likely she'll keep bringing this up in every fights and arguments. Trust me, I've seen this many times. Give her a little space and talk to her again and see if she has changed her mind. Good Luck.
