My alternative hypothesis: A sloth-bear is inherently lazy and a woman who does not work hard but makes a living by selling her body is compared to a sloth-bear as being too lazy to make a dignified living. :D hope that helps u Nas.

The word [Disallowed String for - use of word not allowed] in Nepali means Bear, which lives in Jungles. In the old days, when a boy wants to have sex with a girl, the boy could not take her to his home, nor was there a system to reserve a room in a Hotel. So the boy would take her to a nearby forest for sex. Of course, in those days only girls who were prostitutes would consent to an open sex for money. So here it goes: the couple would start sex in the middle of a jungle thinking they were the only ones in there. But believe it or not, that couple would be followed by a large number of adult boys, hoping they might get a chance to stick in theirs. The moment the couple start having sex, the boys would show up abruptly from nowhere, kick the boy away and enjoy the girl. This is the story that was there in Shleshmantak Ban in the Pashupati area. So the scenarios repeated a lot of couples this way. The adult boys also kept having chances with girls from different areas. Then, whenever the local villagers had to talk about this scene, they started giving a codename, "[Disallowed String for - use of word not allowed]". "E keta haru aja chyank ko [Disallowed String for - use of word not allowed] lyai rakhyachha, la jau bajauna"!

That codename (word with that meaning) definitely originated from the Pashupati area. I was a great witness of it, although I did not get involved, my cousin was a great bh-alu basher! Needless to say, I was born in Pashupati, Devpatan, KTM, Nepal!
