Nepalese Travellers without MRP's might be subject to punishment. As per the state owned agency RSS statistics, To date the number of Nepali passport holders is believed to be four million, both in Nepal and in various other countries. So this delay in printing MRP’s would directly affect 4 million people as they will not be able to carry Machine Readable Travel Documents. According to ICAO provisions, anyone not carrying a machine-readable passport after mid-April 2010 will be punished. ICAO has also authorized airport officials to deport passengers to their home countries if they are found flying without digital passports To read more, please visit Meroawaz dot com.
