i would say "disgusting." "newar ko nau maa kalanka." kahan ko newar ho? newar bolna jaanne newar ho ki newar thar matra jhundaune newar ho? newar le dayez line dine gardaina, daaijo matrai dinchha, tyo pani logneko pariwar kasaiko haque laagdaina, baru buhaari laai ghar ko dhukutee ko talaa chaabi ra sampurna aarthik hisaabkitaab herne jimma dinchha, usle dayez magne hoina, buhaari le gharko dhukuti ko taalaa chaabi maagne ho. publish his name, and full details - pareko hami behorulaa, amrika-east coast tira basne rahechha bhane - gayera chaakma bhwakka bhwakka dui laat hanera aaulaa. laaj nabhayeko nakachcharo jwain lai kasari thik parne hamile janyaa chha

Kick this Bihari's ass. In my whole life I had and have not heard  newar community asking for dowry. Either the blogger is providing wrong information or it must be a man who needs to go to Boxer ( local people in Patana use it instead of RACHI). Last edited: 21-Aug-10 07:59 AM

Most of my friends married without dowry--bahun, newar all. I think people feel very embarrassed to bring dowry these days, but I may be wrong.

This father in law sounds like a racist mother fokker. He had to drag the race card into the picture. The character of this father in law is clearly that of a racist mothafokka Last edited: 20-Aug-10 07:33 PM

antiracist is racist for bringing up the race card into this topic.

ShaKEEn · Aug 20, 2010 7:43 PM

Shakeen Tell me something. If he was not racist did he need to say "My son in law is a green card newar"? I rest my case.

antiracist · Aug 20, 2010 7:50 PM

Maybe he is proud of his son in law being a newar? or maybe he isn't sure of newar's tradition of dayez because he is from a different ethnic minority? i think you need to understand what racism truly means before you call someone racist.

ShaKEEn · Aug 20, 2010 8:18 PM

"maybe he's proud of his son in law being Newar"??? How old are you son?

antiracist · Aug 21, 2010 6:23 AM

My son in law is a green card newar. My daughter married him.Now he is asking dayez. What to say about his character?  After you type,My son-in-law is a green card newar. Why is there a need to also type my daughter married him? Oh yeah! that's right, is it because same sex marriage is gaining legal acceptance at more jurisdictions and you want to make it clear that it is your daughter, and not your son, who married this "green card newar"?If this rogue son-in-law is asking for "dayez", then tell him you don't have such money or any other asset he is asking for. If that does not work, explore legal avenues to make him stop with his demands without severing your new-found family ties. That could be quiet a tough balancing act but you gotta be smart and tactful. That fact, that you have seen more years than this green-shoot, should work in your favor.Good luck now. antiracist, old enough to know what racism is. so do you still think this guy is racist? Last edited: 21-Aug-10 09:20 AM

ShaKEEn · Aug 21, 2010 9:20 AM

"dayez?" Isn't it supposed to be "daijo"? So, what's wrong for a Newar to ask for so called "dayez" from a bihari? Wouldn't you be happier if you had a son and you were the person asking for "dayez" instead. Afterall, Biharis die for "Dayez". Correct me if iam wrong!

I had heard in a reddy family of Andhra pradesh, if the boy is in USA(doesn't matter student or permanent resident) and a maters degree graduate,he is worth at least 2 crore in dowry. It is a business there till today.
