Million$ bro thats real sad hopes he RIP, can you post any news about Pukar's incident posted by houston news or from any US based American news establishment. I think that will clear any doubts and the donations will some very fast. so far it all seems like hear say to many.
terobaaje · Aug 19, 2010 11:55 AM
BaajeBro: Unfortunately, I was not able to locate any reliable publication to verify this either. Then I called one of the numbers in this page and I got the confirmation. If you wish you could call these folks too... http://www.houstonnepalese.org...

I do not want to talk to any Nepali establishment right now to confirm this. you shouldnt either. The seriousness of this case is bound to have some local news break, thats what im looking for.
terobaaje · Aug 19, 2010 12:16 PM
BaajeBro: I understand the need to verify the news when donations from community are involved but you are sounding a little bit ridiculous now. I hope you realize that...
MillionDollars · Aug 19, 2010 12:19 PM
Ok I might sound like that but seems you and your friends are not satisfying many people here. I made it clear, I want to donate, Is it ridiculous to ask for updates and news reports??, why am I suddenly the Bad guy here bro? all I want to make sure that my hard earned money goes to the right cause, TO HELP PUKAR. so, as his friend please provide US ALL the things many people have asked you to do, AND i will help. Im a very friendly person, and I want to help. Please understand

milliondollar you were a disbeliever earlier and only started believing after you made personal inquiry. Maybe terobaaje will be a disbeliever until he makes some personal inquiries too.

I think you not wanting to go through Nepali establishment is ridiculous. If you do not trust an individual like me, I would understand but it's the organization that we are talking about. To me, Nepalese Houston Association is a pretty credible source. They will explain everything to you. I don't know why that does not satisfy you. But that's just you, I guess... I know there are reasons to be suspicious in this case, eg. no personal information regarding the collectors in the donation website... But it is now confirmed by Nepalese association down there and that is pretty good for me.. Last edited: 19-Aug-10 01:19 PM

im going to do that grgdai, milliondollar called houston nepali association, im calling any local news or even the police. the police will also have a log in their website for incidents. any ways grgdai im a disbeliever ??
terobaaje · Aug 19, 2010 12:37 PM
grgDaibro: It's not about being believer or disbeliever... You are obliged to check the authenticity of the news before you start throwing your hard earned money blindly. If all of us did that, we would probably have never had GoldQuest in Nepal...

Now we clearly understand your concern. If we have to donate then we would also make inquiry about the matter before donating. There are very complicated paper work that should be completed and we are done with more than half of them....if things goes smoothly then we will be done with it within next two or three days.. then another issue about funds the updates of all the funds that we've received will be published in our website as soon as possible,,,but not more than two to three days. Help us send this message to all the people concern about this matter.

Million$ bro unlike murder cases, suicide cases usually don't make news. I was about to suggest you to check Pukar's Facebook wall but looks like his profile has been updated. Few days back I was able to check his wall; I was going through his friends comments and condolences but surprisingly his wall has been locked now and looks like only his friends can view it. How is it possible? Unless he left his FB signed in and somebody else updated his profile....

DexterBro: As I said earlier, I personally confirmed the news with Nepalese Houston Association . That's good enough for. I don't care if it is not published in media. I would trust my fellow Nepalese organinzation than the media in general, when it comes to community matters. Regarding FB status, FB has certain policy regarding deceased people and obvioulsy someone contacted them to report the incident. You can google for their policy to get details...

Do you know what your thread gives us the glimpse?
syanjali · Aug 20, 2010 11:24 AM
SyanjaliBro: I don't really know but I am not in the mood to have any argument with anyone in a matter as sensitive as this. Chill Bro...
