You could go to Macy's. They have a wide selection of designer's perfume. They have testers for every brand they have. You could try 'em on and decide which you like the most. Anything ~$50 (depends on volume again) could fetch you a nice one.  I have also found perfumes by Hollister, American Eagle, Banana Republic to be nice in terms of smell. I don't know how long they last though. Personally i've used and liked, Polo, Polo Black/Double Black, Men's in Motion by Hugo Boss, Lacoste, Farhenheit by Christian Dior. But it eventually is a personal choice.

Try Adidas Sport Body Wash...very halka sa freshness smell all day...trust me.. any girl will turn their head and look at you if you pass by...And after long day before you go movies, restaurant...Wash face with Facial cream..like Nivea Men Facial Wash..go to store and smell it before you buy..trust me you will like it..and it also gives you Halka sa good freshness smell... There are plenty of things you can use  to stay Freshness and smell good....

As I am mentioning you as half american, be afull american and you will know them. In front of you they  never say bad things, but as you are off then they will  reveal their true identity. मुखमा राम राम, बगलिमा छुरा.  They may be looking at you as a typical indian curry guy.

I prefer not to use any perfumes but then I have gotten a free supplies of perfume by Jivago company for making a documentary video for their newly launched perfumes Jivago 24K. I recommend this perfume which cost around 60 $ online and somewhere up to 100$ in upscale stores like Neiman Marcus. Nas on Vimeo. I don't prefer using perfumes because using artificial chemicals kills the natural pheromones release by us. I personally believe that my sweat contains unusually large dose of pheromones. This I say because whenever I approach the opposite sex, they tend to get horny. I am not sure if they are reacting to the smell of my bodily odor or my pheromone exciting their brains. Davidoff Cool Water. The gf got this one for me, its pretty pleasant and not too strong. And agree with Nas, natural pheromones have a much higher reaction than perfumes. mind you some people might be allergic to your perfume.. :) Happy hunting.
