A meeting of the caretaker cabinet on Friday took this decision. A life-size statue of the Late Congress leader will also be constructed at the park. The GPK memorial park is being constructed in recognition of the contribution of Late Koirala to for establishment of peace and democracy in the country. The veteran Congress leader fought for democracy for most of his life and played the most important role in bringing the Maoists to the peace process. Last time I found a park right in the ring road, I see it will be a big problem in future. If needed to extension, will be a hurdle same as landing to mars. You know what I am talking about, it is another sahid smarak right next to Ring Road. Free land and free money. Hope it will be good place for morning or evening walk and hang around.

This is the sad part, unless you name it , it is not going to be parked. Now we are rushing to name them after all these hooligans as it was in kingship. The park I mentioned is somewhere between Baudha and Way to Kirtipur Campus, They built it right next to Ringroad, if future if the ring road is widen than this smarak will make bottleneck and traffic will be jammed. Eventually it will be widen but just created a problem from the very begging. Similarly the little puja place in front of Dairy farm in Lainchoaur, I wish that will be taken inside the government land and cleared the road. Sujaata and Koirala family had pocketed billions of dollars, if needed they will buy land and built what ever they want it personally, Ithink it should be in Sunsari, where he was elected. Somehow, this is the guy who is responsible for Maoist to be in power as well when they surrender, Koirala wanted to be the first President and Maoist promised to work on it but they showed their real character.

Somebody's saying that girija's statue shouold be built next to the gate of Indian Embassy at Lainchaur. All these hooligans are puppets of India.. so whenever they die, their statues should be erected right in front of that Indian Embassy Gate.
