raju, You can definitely wait until you speak with the lawyer, as there is still sometime before your number becomes current. If you do decide to pursue this, do not hold off until the end, i.e. send the forms as soon as you can so you can get the second letter on time. KCC will not send you anything unless you return the forms and let them know about your decision to either go via AOS or CP. Either way, you still have to wait until your number becomes current which will most probably be in June/July per prior years' VB before DOS can send you a date for interview or for you to send AOS package to USCIS (for AOS).

i got dv too when i was a student.........all i did was fill up form and and send. The interview place i chose was nepal...........nothing will happen as long u don't work illegally or got some criminal rec........i produced the documents and i got the visa and came here.........

Thank you. But "unauthorized employment" is also the violation of Law.  What I am thinking is, if i process from Nepal, Is my illegal work gonna affect to get through?
