I think the original Nepali beer is Tungmaa or chhyang, other than that we got the patent form others country, but the alcohol content is higher than the set beer standard.

We are bringing the first ever Nepali beer brewed in Nepal to US. Its not any chyaang or tumbaa, and it is available in California for now.

This thread has been posted closely for three days, and you haven't introduced the BRAND NAME of your product yet. I think you're playing with POTENTIAL customers. You're going to pay the price for it now or later. For me, I am already NO for this product. In near future, if I see Nepali beer around Bay Area, I will rather go for SAMUEL ADAMS ON TAP. That's MY FAVORITE. VERY BAD MARKETING!! YOU'RE FIRED!

The name of the beers are Mustang and Nepal's Real Gold, brewed by Sungold's brewery in Nepal. The alcohol percent is 5.5. It doesnt allow me to upload the picture but, check it on facebook. Its under the group "i feel like Nepali beers." We are working on our website, it should be ready soon. i will keep you all posted. And for the answer, what is good about this beer, you gotta try it yourself. i tried it and its pretty good. thank you.

Sounds like 'nepalibeer in us' is bein' tried of drinkin' all kind of beers found in US. There ain't no special on nepali beer in this big world of beers. If there would be then we could have seen the name like 'Gorkha beer' or 'Everest Beer' like we have seen these Heineken, Corona, Guinness etc all around. Last edited: 15-Mar-10 08:56 PM
