it is something like this.. I have a form ..like any regular form with name last name address phone number etc.. some of them are the required field..but 1 field is not a required field..So the non -required field which is not marked with * is coming more towards left side....and it seems to be mis-aligned... hope you got it...and could help me out with this bug. t https://www.toysrus.com/

Why don't you post the link of the page you're having problem with. Most likely, something to do with style definition
ne0 · Mar 8, 2010 7:36 AM
I think you defined the style with *, first of all make all the fields in one div and define the style definition then put the * in <font> and style them later. I guess this is what you are missing.

that issue is now resolved i wrapped that non-required field in a span.and gave it some styles... Thanks Youmesh for that idea..this issue was killing me like anything...

nyshangal,An extra suggestion I would like to give you is try to start your web page from scratch. What I meant to say is reset all the default style of the browser. You can get online CSS script to do this.
janaandolan · Mar 8, 2010 9:14 PM
no i cannot do that...i cannot get rid of style sheet that is already there all i can do is to make some changes or update their stylesheet ...the project will probably go live next month..and there are so many css issues that needs to be fixed...i joined the company recently so I cannot ask them to get rid of styles that they have already created... ani tei bhayera sajha ma pakka pani maile kehi help pauchu bhanera i just posted this thread..and i am happy i am being helped... ma mero questions haru post gardai garchu and i am sure kasai na kasai sanga pakka answer hune cha...

hi do you guys know how do i make bold or underline text inside html TITLE="" attribute for mouse over. Seems simple think but i am stuck i am not sure do i need to use javascript or css for this?
Gohtalo · Mar 9, 2010 11:21 AM
Hi Gohtalo, I am not sure css alone can solve that thing. You still need to write some some javascripts to avoid cross browser problems and other issues.I think the best way would be to use jquery tooltip plugin. http://bassistance.de/jquery-p... Here is a discussion going on the topic.Might be useful for you. http://doctype.com/style-way-t... Thx

i am quite a few issues with ie6....( i simply hate ie6) :( ok let me explain the issue.. i have 3 tabs...1st top rated 2nd top seller and 3rd tab Recently added.. when any of this tab is active that tab should have background image and it is working fine in all the browser except for ie6. does any one know how to fix this issue?
nyshangal · Mar 25, 2010 8:50 PM
does anyone have any idea about image sprites??????
nyshangal · Mar 27, 2010 11:28 PM
nyshangal, yep, do you have any particular question regarding image sprites?
hellCoder++ · Mar 28, 2010 12:03 AM
yes..i tried to use image sprites for category tabs.(there are three tabs) it is working fine in all the browsers..but in ie6..it is not working...it works well for default..it shows three tabs..but when i click on any tabs..(i.e it becomes active).then the image which should be displayed ..is not showing...at all.i gave some positioning for that... what i see is..ie6 is not taking the second image..i.e,,when it becomes..active... it is just not taking active class property :(
nyshangal · Mar 28, 2010 12:25 PM
Read these two links, it will definitely help you,http://www.julienlecomte.net/b... http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-u...
janaandolan · Mar 28, 2010 1:26 PM
Try this link: http://csscreator.com/node/319... Furthermore IE6 does not recognize :hover, :focus event properly and it only allows this property in anchor tag.
