Swayambhu यातायात ki ज्यानमारा यातायात ki यमराज यातायात ? Swayambhu Yatayat killer यातायात ( Video News ) **Swayambhu Yatayat may stay off roads *** KATHMANDU, FEB 15 -Swayambhu Yatayat bus entrepreneurs have said that they might not send their buses to operate from Tuesday onwards if proper security was not provided to them. Four buses belonging to the transport company were set ablaze by irate locals in Chabahil on Sunday after one of the Swayambhu Yatayat buses ran over five people, of whom two have died. Locals had alleged that three buses were competing with each other before one of them lost control and drove onto the pavement. Locals said that they would not allow the buses to ply on the route. However, the move not to allow the companys buses to run on Kathmandus roads has not been enforced by any government agency, said Kathmandu District Office. According to Laxmi Prasad Dhakal, chief district officer of Kathmandu, Swayambhu Yatayat owners have said that vehicles will not ply the street due to the threat from the locals. Drivers and helpers will undergo an orientation class regarding safety measures during these two days, Dhakal quoted one of the entrepreneurs as saying, Rishikesh Ghimire, co-treasurer of the National Transport Federation, was not sure whether the transport companys buses would operate or not. The buses will run if the government provides security to them. We have also made plans to check the fitness of the vehicles from Tuesday onwards. He confirmed that the company will provide orientation on safer driving for its drivers. There are at least 250 buses running under the company. Monday saw another death on the roads of Kathmandu. This time, a 70-year-old man was run over by a speeding micro bus at Kumarigal, Gaurighat, in the morning. The man, Thakur Prasad Aryal, was hit by the micro bus while crossing the road. Irate locals at the site torched the erring vehicle, but the driver is still at large. DSP Govinda Ram Pariyar, chief of the Metropolitan Polce Circle Boudhha, said that Aryal succumbed to injuries while undergoing treatment at Om Hospital. On Sunday, 45-year-old Dambar Kumari Nepali of Dolakha and 32-year-old Reeta Basyal of Palpa were killed after a speeding Swayambhu Yatayat bus hit five people--a cart puller, a roadside vendor and three pedestrians--near Gopikrishna Cinema Hall in Chabahil. Nepali and Basyal died while undergoing treatment at Om Hospital. The area police office, Gaushala has claimed that the accident took place due to the competition and carelessness among the drivers. The Chabahil area was tensed on Monday morning following the incidents, with the protesters demanding for compensation. The driver of the bus is still at large.
