You can get flight to Nepal cheaper than agents from http://www.mobissimo.com/searc... is more cheap if you booked  your flight before 2 month.

Dont know about 6 month, but price for March( I choose March 9 departure from Portland and March 29 return, I got price quote $1007 only.From  Dallas it was $941. You might have got high cost because you choose date too far.Try looking for different dates.

And many airlines don't schedule their flights 6/7 month in advance, thats why u r seeing high price, wait some time that price will go down.
