Hi Guys, I am trying to apply to Canada for PR need some input Plz I am in H1b right now but no job and its been year and I have been paying my taxes every month by working on Mall. I am having a real hard time and doesn't seem like I will get a job anytime soon. Did anybody recently applied or got accepted for PR in Canada? then Could you share with me what should I prepare, i mean the kind of documents, how much money I have to spent, Should I apply through lawyer or just I can do myself if so How to do it detail procedure plz And I heard I cant apply through H1b now a days is that right? if so what is other way to apply???? what is that minimum score thing that we have to get which makes us eligible for that? I heard there is some 67 point thing if so in my situation am i eligible for that?? I have done my masters here. I know its lots of questions but just wanted to know in detail so that i wont have problem later on. Thanks alot I really appreciate any help and I am sure there are many out there who needs proper guidence on this matter micky

You have to spend something less that $2000 ( i think )in total if you do it yourself. It is fairly straight forward and can be done by yourself. Through H1b you can apply through PNP( Provincial Nominee ) program in alberta. View following link: http://www.alberta-canada.com/.... Minimum score is 67 as you said.
