Hi Everyone, I need very serious advice from you all. I am currently working here in US and am in H1B visa from a very reputable non-profit research organization. I haven't been to Nepal since I came to US. It has almost been 8 years due to financial and family problems. My mother who is back in Nepal wants to come and stay with me (she doesn't really have anyone back home and is very lonely). Bringing her to US in tourist visa or visitor visa is NOT a problem for me because my company can easily get one of those for her. The PROBLEM is I want my mother to stay with me in US legally with me like forever. As I said I am not interested in getting her visitor visa or something like that because those visa has a duration of stay limit (like 6 months for so for every visit). I was wondering if there is any way that she can come and stay with me legally as long as she wants (like something equivalent to GC). I was also wondering if I could file an ayslum for her. If anyone of you have done it or knows how to do it efficiently, I would be more than grateful.  Also on what basis is ayslum generally filed? If anyone would please let me know in very detail.
