Darkness Brings Home Fathers  Like a highwayman, when the moon’s a purple glow, His thought rides in to take me to a land all mellow. From days of yore he would come to her delight, Soft gallops in the night, to watch her all right   Seeing the moonbeams surround her couch, He loosens the knot of his golden pouch, Out emerge fireflies in glowing arrays, She’s now all to dream of those halcyon days.   A subtle joy it was, upon his back to pillion ride, To hear that counterfeit neigh and see him abide, To feel utterly protected when being done a Boeing, To persuade for more, till he turns breathless doing. In wonder, how he reared her up into a little woman, With a heart to turn to this woman, years later again, In his words to her, there’s a gold thread that runs, Fondly his beloved spools, for him a cloth she darns. ‘Darkness brings home fathers’, I heard someone say, So, I let the stars ripen by as in the radio they play, “Your beautiful baby from the outside in. Chase your dreams but always know the road that'll lead you home again. Go on, take on this whole world. But to me you know you'll always be, my little girl. . .” Last edited: 09-Oct-09 02:03 AM

you heard somewhere 'darkness brings home fathers'and thus get to read the same thing here. but could it be just a soulless humor, of the ones, but not the twos? of the golden glowing halcyon days, or the only lonesome halcyon's ways, darkness brings the father home, in the case of darkness unknown. cherish the darkness that u have, fathers, will certainly come. for the ones, cherish the darkness, rather feed than fight the demon. n here i am 'lost in translation' :)

Dear Soullesseye, I am glad to be updated and no, it isn't a soulless humor-as you've preluded . I now have a tangible justification :) and you being 'lost' in translation, blame it on the ambiguity of the one liner. Darkness brings home  fathers - the only abiding altruist guardian angel a daughter can ever have. Well, thats the other face of the coin, probably.

ambiguity might just well be the beauty of the thing! :)and it was not an effort to update yours, but an effort to give you the other 'face of the coin'; I am the ones, and you are the twos.

i like that ones and twos that you serve and all the glitters of the coin :-)

thank YOU for the glitters of the coins, and the glitters in the darkness.should i/we be waiting for the darkness though?

that it would be if we are compelled to meet him in that manner..otherwise its never dark with him around aint it?
