I don't know anybody in Carson City area but I guess there are bunch of nepali families living in the Reno area which is closer to carson city. Where you moving from ?

SimplyBest if you are single then try getting a studio apartment ( if available ) for the time being if its very urgent. Once you get there then you can look for the roommates. What say ? By the way are you moving to carson city permanently or you got job here .

SmilyBest, i dont know there are any nepalese in Carson City or not? it is really a small city though it's a capital of Nevada. Try sulekha.com you may find some indians. i dont know you can drive or not. if you can, south lake tahoe can be a option for you. it is just 27 mile from south lake tahoe. if that works , you can try that. thanks   Last edited: 08-Sep-09 03:50 PM

I think i have to think about the Reno or South Lake taheo, I can drive from there also...but i am wondering, is there any local bus service available in these areas? Thank you again...
