U know what I would have loved to say it wasn’t love. But love it was, I am quite sure. Look, I f I had been a karodpati, a promising politician or a guy with 3 ropani of land in Katmandu valley; I might have overlooked the fact that she is a whore. But whore she was. Not a prostitute but a WHORE. I remember the day I walked into that consultancy. Wow, u r quite talented, u scored 7.5 in IELTS and you have 75% on your class 12 exam. Pretty much all of my friend scored that. It was nice to hear that I was talented. It wasn’t exactly the first time I have heard it but to hear it when someone sending me abroad was saying it, it meant a lot. “Bhai, maile school sanga kura gare, ahile scholarship na raichha, tehi bhayera timilai arkai style le pathauna paryo, mind ta gardainau ni?” If I had been in a position to argue I would have but I guess by now u know what kind of person I was. I had no financial backing, due to some reason I just happened to be academically achieving. “well bhai, timi yo bahini sanga paper marriage gara, she will pay for all your expense to Australia and also pay for your first semester; she is a nice girl” Quite frankly his “bahini” was quite an attractive girl, not exactly beautiful in nepali sense but very attractive.
