I have been giving interviews for faculty position in community colleges. I had eighth interview yesterday. I had worked hard and secured  very good GPA in all of degrees I have. In my interview generally, there is a selection committee  which is composed of  men and women mostly women(all white). First, they asked series of written questions and then have me to present on some topics. I do my best since I would have invested several days in preparation. Then natuarally, they say we will give you call with in couple weeks one way or the other. They never inform any outcome. This is getting frustrating. I have some experience in teaching in the US while I was a graduate student and received teaching excellency from the department. These old outdated white color men and women in community colleges driving me nuts. I just wanted to share my experience and  welcome other people job hunting experience too.
