I recently graduated with Nursing Degree from South Dakota. What is the best option for nurses these days, go to grad school or work one year on OPT? I heard there is no H1B for nurses. is it true? anyone with similar situation. Any suggestions. Please help.

Oh really. I have a BSN (Bachelors) but some recruiters told me the H1B had been canceled for nurses including BSN and was issued to only a few specialized nurses. Thanks for the good info. Please Let me know if you have more information.

Here is the problem. To get a Nursing job you do not require a BSN. For a H1B a Bachelors is required, hence its hard to prove that BNS is required for a nursing job unless it some sort of specialization. Try getting a H1C if not Masters
