QPM,   Let me know if that is a good motton.  I want to buy too, but I am afraid that it will be boka ko  masu not khasi ko masu.

'mutton in dfw area pls not goat ok' What does that mean? R u looking for lamb meat?

bisal · Jun 22, 2009 1:26 PM

bisal, mutton is NOT goat...gpm seems to want 'mutton' not chevon (goat meat)...I wonder why...he prefers bheda. lamb = we all know...probably the worst in taste, at least for me and, mutton = khasi pareko bheda (tastes like khasi, but not really...!!)

Ok, please clear me on this What’s the Nepali name of mutton? I thought it was khasi, (neutered boka) I thought I ate goat (mutton ko sekuwa) in Nepal or they just tricked me?

I thought Mutton is my second name..I am really confuse..

  - is right about the technicality of the word. Goat meat is Termed Chevon and Meat of sheep is Mutton. There are a lot like this, We used to say Mustard Oil for Tori ko tel but Mustard is Rayo and Rapeseed is Tori. Like wise Orange is not Suntala it is Mausam :)
