Perfectionist Thank you for the comment. Nepe Thank you for your comment too. I can take the "inadequately informed" part of your comment but would you please enlighten me on "Raw" and "Gross" part of it. I will appreciate that.

नक्कलीजी, मेरो अनुदार टिप्पणीबाट म पनि अलि असहज अनुभव गरिरहेछु है । अनि खासमा मैले भन्न चाहेको कुरा मेरा शब्दले राख्‍न सकेनन् कि भन्छु । मलाई दुईवटा कुरा भन्नु थियो: एउटा कुरा राजनैतिक पाटोको थियो भने अर्को साहित्यिक पाटोको । तर ती दुबै केही हदमा अन्तर्सम्बन्धित पनि छन् । राजनैतिक पाटोको हकमा, ईजरायललाई हैकमवादी र फिलिस्तिनी अतिवादलाई मुक्तियोद्धाको रुपमा बुझेको जुन विश्व वामपन्थी, प्रगतिशिल र उदारवादी जनमत छ, त्यो त्रुटीपूर्ण छ । ईजरायली र फिलिस्तीनी जनताको सम्बन्ध यस्तो श्यामश्वेत प्रकृतिको छैन । दुबै जनतामा एकअर्काप्रतिको भावना, चाहना र व्यवहारमा एक अति देखि अर्को अतिसम्मको सम्पूर्ण विविधता छ र यस्तो विविधता र भौगोलिक विभाजनको बिचमा पनि उनीहरुको सहजीवन र सहअस्तित्व एउटा निरन्तर यथार्थ बनेर रहेको छ । चाखलाग्दो कुरा त के छ भने, यो कुराबाट समाचार र प्रचारसाहित्यमा मात्र निर्भर रहेको विश्व बेखबर छ । द्वन्दको मात्र चित्रण गर्ने दैनिक समाचार र conformist literature हरुले गर्दा ईजरायली र फिलिस्तिनी जनताको सहजीवनको यथार्थबाट हामी सबै बेखबर छौं । यो हाम्रो सूचनाको युगको एउटा दु:खद विडम्बना हो । एनिवे, मैले राख्‍न खोजेको तथ्य के हो भने, ईजरायली र फिलिस्तिनी जनतामा सिमित अतिवादी तप्का बाहेक बाँकी सबै तप्कामा सरदर मानिसमा एकअर्काका भय, समस्या र घाउ को जानकारी छ र त्यसबाट एकअर्काप्रति मिश्रित भावना छ भन्ने मेरो लामो र निकट अवलोकनको निस्कर्ष हो । तपाईको कथाको पात्र यो यथार्थबाट टाढा भएको पाएँ । मेरो विमत त्यही हो । अनि कथामा अतिरञ्जना पनि छ । तर त्यसलाई artistic license दिन सकिन्छ । अनि साहित्यिक पाटोमा चाही मैले भनेजस्तै मिश्रीत भावनात्मक यथार्थको पृष्टभूमिमा प्रतिशोध  तपाईले चित्रण गर्नुभएको जस्तै एकोहोरो नभई केही अन्तर्द्वन्द सहितको बढी स्वाभाविक हुनेथियो । अमिश्रित घृणाकै कथा हो भने पनि भावनात्मक चित्रणमा केही content त हुनुपर्थ्यो, त्यो छैन । ल मैले मेरो राय राखें । भुलचुक लिनेदिने ।   Nepe

"Raw" and "Gross" are extreme words for me and definitely those words didn't express your intentions. However, I am glad that you realized it and took time to do some constructive criticism. As far as my writing, this is my first attempt to write in a political issue. As I have accepted before, I may not be adequately informed about the topic as you are. Being an outsider, I didn't have(still don't have but I will do the research) proper understanding of  Israeli and Palestinian relationship. I couldn't picture the common pains and fears because of this ignorance. But in this story neither I have shown hatred between civilians nor I am advocating Sabira's action. I just tried to picture conflict between Palestine people and Israeli army and the outcome. Again, thank you for your comments. I expect them in future too. Last edited: 02-Jun-09 06:26 PM
