I am sick and tired of the inept politicians and their seamless saga of ineptitude, corruptness, self-centeredness, lie, deceit and betrayal. Nepal has never been so much screwed up as it is at present. And the frustration and fight (sometimes on petty issues) evident here on this forum and elsewhere have been more discouraging - only adding more fuel to the fire, if anything. That said, I do feel that there is a genuine intent in some but our own limitations is stopping us from taking an initiative (no matter how small it is) for the betterment of our country. I know it's easier said than done. I know some of you may laugh at my naivety. And I know my little voice may die in the commotion of this hustle and bustle before it is heard by any. But, I still muster a little courage to ask this: Is there a way a youngster (in his late 20s) like me-- who doesn't have any sorts of political background, whose forefathers or ancestors were not even remotely related or affiliated to any of these politicians and their parties, who neither have experience nor training on running an organization (apart from managing a small group of people) who doesn't have any records of social work in his non-stellar resume but who is quite educated and most importantly - truly and genuinely aspired to do something goof for the nation to pull her out of this mess --can make an entry into the politics of Nepal? What chances, if any, does he/she stand for success (at a level to make some direct positive impact)? Regards, PA
