I was wondering...If someone files refugee and get denied then what happens....to the current status which is F1....Just Curious...... Also can anybody suggest me...what are basic requirements....like I heard that it sould be no more then year after entry in US....Please share your experience and whatever you heard from someone....Thanks...

ANS "Convention Refugee" is a standard formal legal designation used almost universally around the world. The US uses the term 'Asylum Seeker' but in essence it follows absolutely same guiding principles set by UN Convention on Refugees. Just because you dont like the term 'refugee' doesnt mean the UN will change guiding principles that determines if someone is a refugee or not.
