For elderly parents: what are best places to visit

My mom&dad are visiting US I need suggestions on where should I take them to make their travel worth. I would appreciate if someone give me directions on selecting the best destinations. I am planning to take them only East coast and West coast for now but don't know exactly which particular places or city.
