I am tired of all the negative comments and leg pulling all the time. Although I strongly dislike Violence but maoist led government has brought some important changes through new constitution. So far the new constitution has brought some major improvements such as strict gun law rules, strict rules and punishment for human trafficking (prostitution), better law and punishment against cast disparity, false belief/witch craft, and decentralization of authoritative power in government bodies along with equal participation from all sectors of society including indigenous groups. They are also working on changing transportation ACT 1990 in which the vehicle driver has to bear all the cost if a person get injured during accident but can get away with only 17000 rupees if the victim dies (so driver prefer to back the vehicle and kill the victim). In fact, there are so many improvements that are difficult to describe in this thread. Its surprising to know how the previous governments had never even thought about bringing these key issues into practice. and yeah there are equally or even more _ve things done by Maoist. But let them rule for atleast few years lets not try to pull leg all the time (like Girija babu). Even if we have to crticize lets atleast try to see out of the box(see both +ve and -ve) rather than always being -ve or spitting venom. it will take some time to implement the changes into practice  and there are people who try to take advantage of transition period. .  lets  focus on  making  our country  prosper rather than always spreading hatred, criticizing and pulling leg. I am not a maoist supporter. my entire family and myself support "NEPAL MAJDUR KISAN PARTY" and i am a chettri from bhaktapur. I only want my country and people to grow and prosper.

I didn't know that they have implemented the new gun control law in nepal. I think that is sad. every citizen in Nepal should have the right to defend himself / herself, and for the the right to bear arms is important. I wish the maoist governemnt rethink their stance in gun control and repel the gun control law.

I remember post "Magh 19" in one of the interview Dr. Bhattarai told Sushil Sharma of BBC that this their just another strategic plan to capture the power. Now its clear but there are millions of educated people except bunch like you who will limit their plan just to a day dream. Jay hos!!!

Duulata ko logic nai galat cha. Maoist and Law??? Does not seem right. They have still give back property they have captured by force. They are still extorting. Just ask some of the top businessman and you would know. Many of them are forced to put flag of maoist in their industries.  Maoist also awarded the killer of Ram Hari and help killer Sujit Bika to be fled. Maoist never accepeted rule of law. They didn't even bother to respect supreme court. Take an example of Pashupati incidence or army recruiment incidence. They have made mockery of Supreme Court. So your argument on what maoist have done to law is baseless. They are the one who is making joke of law.

Ha ha Diipulata says maoists have made major changes specifically "strict Gun Laws". That gun law that allows only maoists to carry on gun with them at any time, by anyone if they are maoists. Ya let them rule for some years, let the person like Thaiba opposing them be killed by them, let the murderer be placed at their safe location, let them say later on he ran away on the way to police or wherever. Let their cadres be allowed to to any bullshit things to respected persons like VC of TU and lateron say that was not the intention. If the fee was hiked, why they did not do that bull shit thing to Chancellor?? why to VC??? . Because VC was not a maoist???????? Maoist govt is no different than direct kings rule. People used to have fear in opposing king's cadres at that time and now people have fear opposing maoists' cadres.
