This kinda heinous crime had happened before, I guess. When I was kid, there used to live this family who immigrated from India. When the son in the family got married, within one year the daughter-in-law got died/killed. Rumors had it that the daughter-in-law didn't bring enough dowry and there was always family dispute. Rumors also had it that she was torched alive with kerosene.  --it was sick to hear as a kid.
