Have u even seen or heard a Nepali muslim in nepal doing things like beheading, bombing, extortion? The answer is no. Then why are u against the muslim soceity of nepal? They are nepalese just like us. Some are born in nepal. Soe changed their religion to muslim. And some are from tibet who had to flee because of chinese inavsion. I don’t agree with many things sajhakovillain says but Bathroomcoffee comment “and second of all WHO TOLD THEM TO GOTO IRAQ” was not only shameful but disgusting. Dude maybe those 12 poor nepali were not born on privilege family like yours to come to US.  Maybe they didn’t have any choice but to go to Iraq to earn few extra bucks, or maybe they didn’t even know they will end up Iraq (I have read in many media that they were taken to Iraq against their will).

Bathroom, First if you read my comment carefully I never blamed Muslims or Iraqi.  I was and I still am sad by your comments towards those 12 poor nepali who didn't deserved to be killed like that.    Second, Iraq's people didn't kill them; they were bunch of so called Jihadis from many other parts of Muslims world.  I've nothing but sympathy for average Iraqi people who have lost more than anybody in this war.     Third, do you ever realize that those poor people were also average nepali trying to make a living, just like you.  I'm sure you are an educated person, and it makes me sad that some one like you is making justification for those brutal killing and is still blaming the victims.

I believe there was an extensive report written in Chicago Sun some months back on the case of 12 Nepalis who were murdered by Al-Quaeda.  If I recall correctly, they were hired to work in Jordan.  But when they reached there, the subsidiery of KBR, an American company which handles logistics for the US armed forces, decided that they are needed in Iraq and put them in a convoy to go to Baghdad.  Were they duped?  Evidence says yes.  When the Jihadis in fake Iraqi police uniform stopped them, rest of the convoy abandoned the truck they were in, leaving them completely unprotected.  And you know the rest of the unfortunate story.  Why were they so stupid to go to war zone?  I believe the question is why were they so desperate to go to war zone, if it was their choice at all?  When you have no source of income back home, when you have a family to feed, when you have already invested thousands of rupees to get so far, there are many things that can weigh heavily upon your method of judgement.  But even before that, the question is were they even given the reasonable opportunity to make the choice of entering Iraq from Jordan. Well, much has been said and written about this incidence.  There was a lawsuit against KBR filed on behalf of those victims.  Not sure what happened there.

Jonny, I never said that those Nepali people deserved to be killed(READ MY POST CAREFULLY). Seconly why are those Jihadi's in Iraq ? Because of American Occupation of Iraq. What were those Nepali ppl doing there ? Helping Americans occupy Iraq. What i am trying to say is that those Nepali ppl did not get killed because Muslims hate Nepali ppl, but because those Nepalis were helpping the Americans(THERE IS A BIG DIFFERENCE, CAUSE THE THREAD MAKES IT SEEM LIKE MUSLIMS HATE NEPALI PPL) THIRD I am not blaming the Victims but THEY SHOULD HAVE KNOWN BETTER THAN TO GO TO A WAR TORN AREA. Now the other point Riten brings out is that they were duped. Well then in that case, somebody need to look into this and bring in a Lawsuit with KBR instead of blaming them so called Jihadi Muslims.

A East Cost lawyer took the case for the victim's family and won the case few months back. I cannot remember the amount of money involved but it was just like few pennies for KBR. Hiding under the shades of American democracy, enjoying all the privilege, but in return bashing the US as the villain to the rest of the world is a favorite past time for Nepali students after a few beer on Friday night. Been there and done that. The reality is you still prefer the US over the rest of the world, just jealous of their success.
