Yeah, without a problem. Just collect $100 bills. But its a big time to exchange it. You have to write every single serial number if you want to exchange at the bank. If you excange with the brokers then you don't have to do anything. If you go to bank you get the rate on the paper but broken these days don't give you same rate. I don't know about the student. I was working as H1b dude. It was not only my money it was from some folk $50, $100, $200 from my friend and their wife. I don't know new rule and regulations. Since maoist are in govt, I heard lots of rules are changed. Now kids born here have to pay to extend their stay while it used to be free. You better check in Nepal.
