Hi guys, Just wanted some advice from y'all.I want to invite my parents for the graduation ceremony, and since I am not an international student the advisor cannot issue me an invitation letter.I was wandering what kind of other evidence can I get from my univeristy, besides my diploma, to prove to the embassy in Nepal that I am really graduating on May.Any advice would be really helpful. Thanks.

You can still invite your parents but have the dean of your dept. write the letter on the basis that you have requested that the dean write a letter indicating about your graduation ceremony and your desire to invite your parents. It should not indicate that the college is inviting your parents but actually that you desire your parents to attend the ceremony. If the dean doesn't write it, go to the chair and don't take NO for an answer. It can be done.

Hey Guys! What docs are necessary to make by my parent? I am on H1B, what docs are to be sent to Nepal? Any help would be appreciated.
