Anyone has travelling (going to CANADA or Nepal) experiance while in OPT. I start my OPT in June and I need to go to canada in June. any sugessions please. thanks

If you have an expired visa, it is better not to travel even if you have a job offer (particularly in this economic situation). Note that your EAD is not for reentry. I am not a lawyer though.

Happy 2009, If your I-20 is current and signed by your international advisor, you can re enter US within 30 days of Canada Visit, though you VISA expire. I am 100% confident about this rule, because I went through the same process. Good Luck.

Bouncingback, thanks so much for the info. when did you go to canada ? was is recently ? We just got our Canadian PR so we must land to canada before June. I am afraid to go after the graduaion because I do not have visa in my passport. Hopefully, they will let me re-enter US otherwise I am screwedd..... what are the documentation needed in the PORT. Just the I-20 ?? thanks again
